Youth Leadership

Young people can make a difference.

Hi! This part of the EMAN website is all about teens and kids in East Mt. Airy. We believe that youth voices matter. You don’t have to be an adult to make your neighborhood better.

Whether you care about the environment, want to help others, or have big ideas, you can be a leader right here where you live.

8/5- National Night Out. The 14th District is putting together National Night Out at Pleasant Playground on the first Tuesday of August. 8/13- Supper Session. During Supper Sessions, the 7100 & 7200 blocks of Germantown Avenue are closed to cars, making it a cool spot for people to hang out. You can grab food from local restaurants and food trucks at big tables on the street. There’s live music, a DJ, and fun activities for kids. Plus, shops are open late if you want to shop while you eat!
